Duration:Permanent Hours:35 hours Work pattern:Monday to Friday Location:Glasgow, Edinburgh or Dumfries and Galloway (agile home-based worker with travel requirements to Group offices). Were looking for aDigital and Social Media Officerto lead our social and digital channels, creating content that connects, engages, and delivers real impact. What youll do Create and publish engaging content across our digital channels including social media. Produce short-form video, graphics, and compelling copy that drives meaningful engagement. Lead social media planning and maintain content calendars. Foster audience engagement by monitoring trends and responding to comments. Support integrated marketing campaigns while maintaining brand standards. Share stories that demonstrate the real impact of Wheatleys work on people and communities. Track and optimise engagement metrics across all channels, using insights to inform strategy. Collaborate on multi-channel campaigns to ensure a consistent digital presence and voice. Who were looking for This role would suit: An experienced digital, social media, or content professional with a track record of delivering engaging, insight-driven digital content; or A digital marketing or social media executive ready to take ownership of channels, content planning, and performance Youll bring: Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with an eye for detail, accessibility, and tone of voice Hands-on experience creating engaging digital content, especially short-form video and social media formats A love of data and using insights to improve content performance Excellent collaboration and stakeholder skills, with confidence to advise and enable others Curiosity and adaptability, keeping up to date with digital trends and evolving platforms Why Wheatley?
