Manufacturing Manager - FMCG

Job DescriptionOn behalf of our client, a well-established and forward-thinking food manufacturer, we are recruiting for an experienced Manufacturing Manager to join their leadership team at their Glasgow site.This office-based role is highly strategic in nature and requires a commercially minded individual who can balance operational efficiency with long-term planning and cost control. The successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders to drive continuous improvement, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead production performance across the site.Key Responsibilities:Lead manufacturing operations with a focus on strategic planning and performance optimisationOversee production targets, team development, and departmental KPIsEnsure adherence to food safety and regulatory standards (e.g. BRCGS, HACCP)Collaborate with cross-functional departments including Supply Chain, Engineering, and QualityMonitor budgets and drive cost-effective improvementsSupport the execution of business-wide initiatives and capital projectsKey Requirements:Proven experience in a senior manufacturing/production role within food manufacturingStrong commercial awareness and budget management experienceDemonstrable leadership and communication skillsIn-depth understanding of food safety standards and complianceDegree in Engineering, Food Science, or similar field preferredThis is an excellent opportunity for a strategic manufacturing professional looking to take the next step in their career with a respected industry player.
