Job Description Igne is seeking aProject Engineering Geologistto join the Ground Investigation (GI) Division inHamilton. This is a full-time, permanent position that will require travel.This role offers a mix of site and office based work and provides an excellent opportunity to contribute to the delivery of a diverse portfolio of ground investigation and geotechnical projects across Scotland.You will be responsible for managing large, complex ground investigation projects and writing first class interpretative reports. If you want to join an innovative, fast paced and dedicated team who are making a difference, we would love to hear from you.Key Responsibilities:Assist with planning and preparation of GIsManage and act as part of a team on small to large scale GIs ensuring compliance with specification and contractual documentsSoil and rock core logging in compliance with BS5930 / Eurocode 7Manage project data including AGS, laboratory schedules, logs etc. to client requirementsWriting factual reports and assistance in interpretive report writingPreparation of risk assessments and method statementsPerson Specification:A degree in Engineering, Geology, Geotechnical Engineering or a closely related discipline is essential.Knowledge of geotechnical investigation techniques, soil mechanics and geologyExperience running small and medium ground investigation projects from Contract Award to completionExtensive experience producing factual reports to a high standard within timescales allowedAbility to manage time effectively to ensure timeous client communication and deadlines are metFull UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sitesSalary & BenefitsSalary competitive depending on experience33 days of annual leaveinclusive of bank holidaysPension schemeDeath in service schemeEnhanced maternity and paternity payHoliday purchase/buy-back schemeMedical Cashback schemeWe are Igne Group Limited, a synergetic amalgamation of six companies, renowned within our respective fields, with over 350 years of combined experience.
