Job Description Installation Manager - Fire and SecurityLocation: Glasgow, G52Salary: 50,000 - 55,000 per annum, DOEContract: Full time, PermanentBenefits: Company vehicle & mobile phone, Company pension, 23 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays, Death-in-service benefit (after 6 months), Full uniform & PPE provided, On-site parking, Long-term career progression and professional development, Supportive, forward-thinking environment where your leadership truly mattersWe are a trusted provider of advanced fire and security solutions across Scotland.With continued growth and a reputation built on quality, reliability, and innovation, we are now seeking an experienced Installation Manager to lead our installation function and ensure the successful delivery of high-standard projects!This is a key leadership role within a progressive, expanding organisation, ideal for someone who thrives on responsibility, teamwork, and delivering outstanding results for customers.The OpportunityAs our Installation Manager, you will take the reins of our installation operations, ensuring every project is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest technical standards.You will lead a talented team of installation engineers, support major projects, liaise directly with clients, and play a central role in driving operational excellence across the business.This role is perfect for someone who combines technical expertise with strong people-management abilities and a passion for delivering exceptional service.As our Installation Manager, you will: Oversee installation projects across CCTV, Fire Alarm, Intruder Alarm, and Access Control systemsLead and manage the installation engineering team, ensuring high performance and top-quality workmanshipDevelop installation schedules, allocate workloads, and ensure projects remain on trackAct as the primary point of contact for clients providing updates, addressing issues, and ensuring a first-class experienceIdentify challenges early and implement solutions to keep projects running smoothlyEnsure full compliance with Health & Safety requirements and relevant industry standardsMaintain accurate documentation, project reports, and installation recordsWork closely with sales, technical support, and service teams to ensure seamless project deliveryWhat We're Looking ForProven track record managing installation projects within the fire & security industryMinimum 3 years in a leadership or management positionHands-on experience with systems such as CCTV, Fire Alarms, Intruder Alarms, Access ControlStrong understanding of industry standards (e.g., BS5839)Experience with Gent Fire systems (advantageous)Strong leadership and team development capabilitiesExcellent communication and client-facing skillsHighly organised with strong time-management abilitiesCalm, composed problem-solver who thrives under pressureRequirementsFull, valid UK driving licenceCSCS/ECS/IPAF certifications (desirable)You'll become part of a respected, growing organisation where quality and service come first.
