Production Operator - Plating

Thanks to continued demand, were excited to offer a new opportunity to join our team in Glasgow as a Plating Operator.Ready to make your application Please do read through the description at least once before clicking on Apply.Plating Operator Key Responsibilities:Operating manual chemical plating lines as required in various coatings including Zinc, Zinc-nickel, Electroless nickel, Gold and SilverMonitor production tanks by analysis and make chemical additions as requiredCarry out X-ray testing for thickness of various coatingsFilling our Job cards with all relevant details of process carried outPlating Operator Qualifications & Experience:Educated to standard grade levelDemonstrable examples of dexterityExperience of working to high quality standards on precision components (desirable)Must be health & safety consciousPlating experience preferred but not essential as full training will be provided Plating Operator Skills & Behaviours:Ensure a flexible and collaborative attitude within the teamWork constructively and support your peer team and other departments as requiredAct in an appropriate manner when dealing directly or indirectly with customersEnsure respect for all team membersProactive with good time managementGood problem-solving skills within span of control/teamDisplay a positive attitude and be resilient to setbacksDisciplined in maintaining schedules and documentation as requiredWhats in it for you?Full time, permanent contract, working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
