Their teams combine technical expertise with creativity, helping clients meet ambitious goals around energy efficiency, water conservation, thermal and visual comfort, and carbon reduction.Role OverviewAs a BREEAM Assessor, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality sustainability assessments for a diverse range of UK projects. Youll advise design teams across multiple sectors, guiding them through certification pathways and supporting the integration of sustainable principles throughout the project lifecycle.Your work will directly contribute to improving building performance, reducing environmental impact, and driving meaningful change within the built environment.Responsibilities:Lead BREEAM assessments from early design through to post-construction stagesProvide clear sustainability guidance to clients, architects, and engineering teamsCoordinate evidence collection and manage project documentationProduce high-quality reports and certification submissionsSupport wider sustainability initiatives including net-zero carbon strategies, environmental modelling, and related assessmentsCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate best-practice design measuresRequirementsBachelors or higher degree in sustainability, environmental design, architecture, or a related fieldQualified BREEAM Assessor (New Construction or RFO)Experience working in the built environment sectorStrong understanding of sustainability frameworks and certification processesExcellent organisational and client-facing skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlinesExperience with other sustainability standards (LEED, WELL, HQM, etc.)Knowledge of wider environmental analysis tools or methodologiesBackground in building services engineering, environmental consulting, or architectural sustainabilityPassion for sustainable design and environmental performance,Strong communication skills and the ability to influence project outcomes.BenefitsUp to 42,000 per annum (DoE)25 days annual leave + bank holidaysFlexible/Hybrid working optionsCompany Pension schemePrivate HealthcareOngoing professional development and training.Next StepsIf you're interested in this opportunity, please submit your updated CV or reach out to Lusona Consultancy for a confidential conversation.If this role isnt quite the right fit but youre exploring new opportunities, we would be happy to assist you in finding the perfect match.
