Analytical Development Scientist

Job DescriptionSRG are looking for an Analytical Development Scientist for a role with our client who are a global manufacturer of pharmaceuticals. This is an exciting and challenging role and a chance to join a company who are displaying continued success in their field.The Role:Ensuring all analytical work (method transfer/development, formulation support, method validation, technical batch stability, etc) is performed and reported within agreed timelinesPerforming routine analysis to support formulation development and assist in the transfer of methods to QCWrite and present scientific data in updates for clients and take part in technical discussionsIdentify deviations and faults in analysis or instrument performance and troubleshoot issuesAssist with investigations into technical challenges at a laboratory levelReviewing routine analytical data generated by colleagues within the Analytical Development groupLiaising with other departments internally as well as clients and customersTake ownership of lab equipment responsibilities and interact with suppliersAuthor reports, SOPs and other process documentation as requiredWork within regulatory guidelinesRequirements:Educated to degree level, or equivalent, in a relevant science related disciplineStrong technical skills in analytical methods including HPLC as an essential requirementExperience within a similar laboratory environment, ideally a CDMO or CMOPrior experience of working in a fast-paced environment where you are used to thinking on your feetUnderstanding of working in a regulated environmentMust be able to demonstrate organisational skills and technical knowledgeStrong communication skillsBenefits:The client offer an comprehensive benefits package with an excellent pension, health insurance and additional lifestyle benefits among others.
