Job Description Principal Aquatic Ecologist GlasgowSalary: 50,00060,000 DOE + benefitsContract: Permanent, Full Time | HybridA leading UK environmental consultancy is expanding its Aquatic Ecology team in Glasgow and is seeking a Principal-level Ecologist to deliver projects across freshwater, estuarine, and coastal habitats.This senior role offers variety and autonomy: from leading surveys and impact assessments to mentoring colleagues, managing projects, and contributing to restoration and research initiatives. Youll join a multi-award-winning ecology team within a national consultancy, recognised for technical excellence, collaboration, and commitment to sustainability.The company employs around 180 ecologists across the UK, but maintains a flat hierarchical structure. The successful candidate will be only two layers of seniority from the Managing Director, ensuring visibility, influence, and genuine career progression.
