This role supports the delivery of Principal Designer duties across a varied portfolio of construction projects, working alongside experienced CDM professionals. The position is suited to candidates with around 2-3 years of experience within architecture, architectural technology, or construction who want to develop deeper knowledge of CDM 2015 regulations and safe design principles. Projects span multiple sectors within the built environment. The role begins office-based to support training and mentoring, before moving to hybrid working following probation.Role & ResponsibilitiesSupport delivery of Principal Designer duties across construction projectsAssist with CDM 2015 compliance across project design stagesPrepare design risk registers and Health & Safety documentationCoordinate with architects, consultants and project teamsMonitor design risk management throughout project lifecycleSkills & Experience Required2-3 years experience within architecture, construction or consultancyKnowledge of CDM 2015 and UK Health & Safety legislationExposure to live construction or design-stage project environmentsStrong coordination and communication across multidisciplinary teamsInterest in developing a specialist CDM or safety careerSalary & BenefitsSalary 35,000 - 45,000 depending on experience23 days annual leave plus bank holidays and Christmas closureHybrid working available after successful probation periodStructured CPD with support for APS, IOSH or NEBOSHPension scheme with employer contributionApply If you meet the criteria above, send us your CV and portfolio.
