Job DescriptionProject Manager - Systems Implementation Contract: 18-month Fixed TermLocation: Hybrid Glasgow (2/3 days weekly)Salary: 43 50kA forward-thinking public sector & educational organisation is seeking a skilled and motivated project manager, to oversee the successful delivery of a major systems implementation.Experience we are looking for:Strong PM experienceHistory of overseeing a full systems implementation from scoping to completionRisk mitigation / managementDeep understanding of regulatory & publicly funded environmentsAwareness of general procurement standards / practices beneficialA commercial awareness from a sales perspectiveIn this role, you will:Lead the scoping and procurement phases, ensuring clear system requirements and a detailed product specification are in place.Support the Project Team in identifying key success measures and develop a project plan that enables effective progress tracking.Manage and document the project plan, ensuring governance, audit, and KPI requirements are met and reported to relevant oversight committees.Oversee supplier contracts, ensuring the allocation of consultancy time and support commitments match project needs and timelines.Challenge and guide the team to review and enhance processes, ensuring optimal use of the new system.Coordinate detailed workshops during the configuration stage, ensuring alignment with institutional requirements and a clear understanding among stakeholders.Develop the UAT framework & lead the team through data cleansing & migration stages.This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and collaborative professional to lead a high-impact project from initiation to implementation, with real influence on long-term systems and working methods.Sector specific experience within educational or public / publicly funded sectors will likely be advantageous but not required!Our client is an equal opportunities employer & values the unique perspective a diverse workforce brings to what they do.Please apply with CV to be considered.
