This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced technician who enjoys problem-solving and working independently in a mobile role. You will play a crucial part in getting vehicles safely back on the road, representing a leading name in the automotive industry.Roadside Technician Benefits:Start and finish at home no commute to a depotShifts planned 12 months in advance23 days annual leave (rising with service) + bank holidaysCompany van fully equipped with state-of-the-art toolsFree breakdown cover for you and your household from day oneExcellent career development and training opportunities24-hour employee assistance programmeCompany life assurance (linked to pension)Key Responsibilities:Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle faults including mechanical, electrical, and electronic issuesCarry out routine maintenance such as brake inspections, fluid checks, and battery replacementsUse the latest diagnostic tools and software to identify and fix complex faults on-siteDeliver outstanding customer service by clearly communicating repair options and solutionsMaintain a clean, safe, and organised mobile workspaceRecord all work completed accurately using company systemsRequirements:Minimum Level 2 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (City & Guilds, IMI, NVQ or equivalent)At least 3 years of experience in a workshop or mobile technician environmentStrong diagnostic and fault-finding abilitiesExcellent communication and customer service skillsFull UK driving licence with no more than 9 penalty points (no disqualifications)This role is ideal for a proactive and capable technician who enjoys autonomy, variety, and problem-solving on the go.
