Location: Kirkintilloch or BishopbriggsYou must have experience as a legal secretary or paralegal in Scotland, being familiar with the Scottish Conveyancing system to apply. Applicants who do not possess this experience will not be considered.About the Role: We’re looking for a special person to bring a depth of experience to our collaborative and supportive conveyancing team. Key Responsibilities: You will provide essential administrative and technical support to the Residential Property team, including: Technical Duties: Producing, amending, and formatting legal documents with accuracy and efficiency. Utilising software like Scotlis, Lender Exchange, Denovo and other third-party platforms. Applying for property searches and liaising with providers. Preparing and submitting LBTT and Land Registration forms. Typing, dealing with correspondence, and liaising with clients/other side Solicitors. Experience / Skills Required: Previous experience as a Legal Secretary or Paralegal in a Residential Conveyancing team within Scotland. Excellent communication and multi-tasking abilities. Strong IT skills (Word, Excel and experience of a case load management system). Excellent spelling and punctuation. A positive, adaptable approach to teamwork and client service. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
