Senior Product Manager

The Role:A high-growth fintech scale-up is seeking a Senior Product Manager to take ownership of its core payments infrastructure. This role will focus on expanding and optimising how customers move money across the UK and Europe via schemes such as Faster Payments, Bacs, CHAPS, SEPA, and SWIFT.You’ll be working cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, Compliance, and Commercial teams to shape strategy, drive execution, and deliver scalable, compliant, and high-performing payment solutions. You’ll also support the company’s broader ambitions by enabling new markets and customer use cases.Key Responsibilities:• Own and deliver the roadmap for core payment capabilities across multiple domestic and international payment schemes • Build a strong understanding of regulatory and operational requirements across the UK and EU • Collaborate closely with Engineering to define product requirements and ensure timely, high-quality delivery • Partner with Compliance and Ops teams to ensure ongoing scalability, resilience, and regulatory alignment • Engage with customers and ecosystem partners to capture insights and feedback to shape the product roadmap • Identify and act on opportunities to enhance speed, cost-efficiency, reliability, and user experience • Support go-to-market efforts in collaboration with Commercial and Marketing teams • Use data to measure impact and guide future prioritisation decisionsKey Requirements:You’re an experienced product leader with a deep understanding of payments and financial infrastructure. You bring clarity and pace to complex environments and are comfortable operating in regulated, fast-moving settings.• 5+ years of product management experience in fintech, payments, or financial infrastructure • Demonstrable success in owning and scaling products within a regulated domain • In-depth knowledge of at least one key payment scheme (e.g. FPS, SEPA, SWIFT, etc.) • Technically confident and able to engage effectively with engineering teams • Skilled at managing a wide range of stakeholders and communicating effectively across teams • Strong balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution • Comfortable working within agile delivery environmentsFor the right candidate, the base salary is £80-110K + bonus.
