CNC Machinist

Walker Group provides advanced high-precision manufacturing services from centres of excellence located in the UK and Poland. Due to ongoing demand, we have an exciting opportunity to join our team in Glasgow as a CNC / Manual Grinder.As CNC / Manual Grinder, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC surface and cylindrical grinding machines. There may also be opportunities to support spark & wire erosion processes, carrying out precision EDM machining operations.CNC / Manual Grinder Key Responsibilities:Oversee Machinery set-up and operate machinesLoading materials and unloading finished productsAdjust machine settings as requiredFollow technical drawings working to customer tolerancesCarefully follow procedures and safety guidelines. Including company procedures, operating standards, and process documentationMaintain an accurate log of production and equipment problems, adjustments, and repairs.
