Role:                          Health & Safety Officer Department:            Regulatory ServicesReporting To:          Chief Operating OfficerHours:                       4 – 6 hours per week, plus 1 day a month on-site. Location:                  RemoteContract:                  VoluntaryThe Vestacare Stadium is seeking a Health & Safety Officer to join the Regulatory Services Team and support matters related to Health & Safety, Fire Safety, Licensing, Environmental Protection and Insurance Compliance. This position reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer.The ideal candidate for this role is someone who is looking to develop experience in this area alongside their studies or someone with valued experience who wants to get involved with a football club and give back to the community.ResponsibilitiesThe Health & Safety Officer will be responsible for:Leading our relationship with our Health & Safety Consultants Ensuring that the club is compliant with all relevant legislation and regulationsConducting risk assessmentsRecord, investigate, and report any accidents, incidents, or near misses.Producing documents and policiesImplementing measures to ensure compliance with regulationsEnsuring compliance with environmental protection and insurance regulationsWorking closely with other departments to ensure regulatory compliance across the clubLiaising with external agencies and suppliersOpportunityThis is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to develop their skills and gain valuable experience in the regulatory services sector.
