You'll have the autonomy to own key processes, but with the support and flexibility to thrive, including adjustable start and finish times and a collaborative culture where development is taken seriously.Why Work Here?Salary: Up to £35,500 (dependent on experience)Flexible start/end timesOpportunity to join a leading legal firm with a strong heritageSupportive team environment dedicated to staff developmentCentral Edinburgh location with modern office facilitiesJobThe role of Credit Controller / Cashroom Assistant will give you the opportunity to be involved with the following:Providing efficient credit control services and associated tasksProactively contacting clients to ensure timely paymentsEffectively dealing with invoice queries and managing queries to resolutionGenerating reminder letters and monthly statementsAssisting in the development of an in-house credit control databaseEnhancing and updating current credit control proceduresProviding assistance with raising fee notes and credit notesProcessing client and firm postings and expenses claimsHandling of payments, including cheques and electronic transfersProcessing deposit account transactions and reconciling reportsAdhering to firm procedures and law society rulesContributing to process efficiency improvementsYouAs a Credit Controller / Cashroom Assistant you will be skilled &/or qualified in the following:Proven experience in credit control within a legal or similar professional environmentHigh competency in managing financial data and using financial systemsStrong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectivelyExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelA keen eye for detailCapability to work independently and as part of a teamAt Three Bridges Recruitment, two of our values are “striving for brilliance” and “relatability”.
