Job Description Job Overview:As a CDP, you will work as an important member of the team and be responsible for producing delicious in-flight meals to exact specifications and quantities. Working to tight timelines, you will ensure that the work area is kept safe and as clean as possible while maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene, and health and safety at all times. In the role, you will be expected to carry out and record regular food safety checks while minimizing and recording waste and spillages. Ensures quality production standards are followed and maintained. Ensures adherence to HACCP and regional safety regulations in compliance with gategroup policies and procedures. Preparing materials lists for designated recipesQualifications and Experience: Education:Educated to GSE or O levels; Basic Food hygiene training/certificationA recognized City & Guilds qualification or NVQ Level 2 for a Chef is desirable but not essentialWork Experience: Previous experience in a similar role. Previous supervisory experience working in a high volume, manufacturing, food production, restaurant or catering environment requiredIn-flight catering experience or experience in a high-volume food service environment preferredSkills & Knowledge:Good interpersonal and communication skills.
