Warehouse Operative We are currently recruiting Warehouse Operatives on behalf of our client based in Gateshead. This is a long-term ongoing opportunity within a busy warehouse environment, offering stable work and competitive pay. The role is working a continental shift pattern 4 days in followed by 4 days off. Pay & Hours 15.16 per hour (including shift allowance) Continental shift pattern 2 Day Shifts: 6:00am - 6:00pm 2 Night Shifts: 6:00pm - 6:00am Followed by scheduled days off Key Responsibilities As a Warehouse Operative, your duties will include: Preparing customer orders ready for dispatch Working from pick lists to accurately pick and pack orders Loading and unloading deliveries Scanning goods on receipt and moving stock onto pallets Putting stock away in the correct warehouse locations Wrapping, sealing and labelling products ready for dispatch Ensuring all orders are completed accurately and on time Maintaining clean, organised and safe working areas Using manual handling equipment to move and pick stock What Were Looking For Previous warehouse experience is beneficial Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment Good attention to detail when picking and packing orders Reliable with a strong work ethic Ability to work shift patterns including days and nights Due to the high volume of candidates responding to our adverts unfortunately we are not always able to provide individual feedback.
