We are seeking a s killed and experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our high-performing team. This role is ideal for a motivated individual with a solid understanding of mechanical fabrication processes and a strong background in welding, particularly with stainless steel and aluminium. Role Overview As a Welder / Fabricator, you will be responsible for the fabrication and welding of high-quality components and assemblies, ensuring adherence to strict quality and safety standards. You will work closely with production and engineering teams to deliver precision-manufactured parts for a diverse range of industries. Key Responsibilities Perform TIG and MIG welding on a range of metals Understand and execute weld preparations, weld symbols, and machine setup Perform heat line straightening as required Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications Work with a variety of materials: plate, section, laser cut, and machined components (1mm30mm+) Ensure high-quality standards through self-checking and quality inspections Maintain and follow all relevant health and safety procedures Skills & Qualifications Time-served Welder/Fabricator, ideally with NVQ Level 3 in Fabrication / Welding (or equivalent) Proven experience with stainless steel, aluminium, and general fabrication Proficient in reading and interpreting technical and engineering drawings Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Excellent teamwork and communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment What We Offer Competitive hourly rate: 14.50 16.50, depending on experience 39-hour workweek over 4 days (Mon Thurs) Overtime paid at time and a half 5 weeks holiday entitlement Pension scheme Biannual bonus scheme, subject to business performance Holiday buy/sell scheme A supportive, skilled, and collaborative working environment Opportunities to work with diverse clients across multiple industries TPBN1_UKTJ
