Vehicle Technician

Due to growth and expansion, The Motorist a well-established, very successful independent garage in Leeds are looking to hire a skilled and experienced vehicle technician to join the team. Our business over the past few years has grown significantly and The Motorist is a site that offers it all. With an onsite workshop, Bodyshop, Caf, Restaurant, Store and events space there is always something exciting happening! The successful vehicle Technician will be working as part of the onsite workshop. They will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and maintaining a variety of vehicle makes and models ranging from classic cars through to prestige brands. The position requires a strong understanding of automotive systems and the ability to use diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve complex problems. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cars and be committed to delivering high quality work within the required time frame. Monday Friday, 8.00am 4.30pm Role & Responsibilities: Diagnose and carry out repairs and service of vehicles Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections Ensure all work is performed accurately & efficiently to manufacture standards Maintain communication with the service dept regarding progress Work within the company health & safety guidelines Conduct MOTs (if qualified) and routine safety checks Experience: You will have experience in vehicle maintenance and repairs working across multiple brands including prestige Be able to work in a fast paced environment, multitask and use their own initiative.
