Legal Secretary Location: Gainsborough Salary: 26-38K DOE plus excellent benefits package Key Requirements We are looking for a proactive and professional Legal Secretary to join our Private Client department, supporting solicitors and fee earners in the Wills, Trusts & Probate team. To succeed in this role, you must be: Organised with strong attention to detail A clear communicator , comfortable dealing with clients and documentation Empathetic and professional , offering reassurance and care to clients navigating sensitive matters Discreet and trustworthy , handling confidential client information with integrity Experienced in legal administration related to wills, probate, and estate planning About the Role As a Legal Secretary in the Wills, Trusts & Probate team, you will play a vital role in supporting fee earners and providing compassionate, high-quality service to clients during key moments in their lives. This is a typing-heavy role , requiring fast, accurate transcription of legal correspondence and documentation. Your responsibilities will include: Preparing legal documents and correspondence with a high degree of accuracy and speed Liaising with clients by phone, email, and in person Supporting solicitors and paralegals in case progression and client care Managing files, scheduling appointments, and ensuring smooth office operations Upholding high standards of confidentiality, accuracy, and client service About the Firm Our client is a well-established and award-winning law firm with a strong reputation across Lincolnshire, Yorkshire, and the East Midlands .
