Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust Consultant Psychiatrist, CMHRS, Surrey Heath (Attracts £25K RRP) The closing date is 11 March 2026We are looking for a committed and compassionate Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Surrey Heath Community Mental Health Recovery Service (CMHRS) for Working Age Adults, based at Theta, Lyon Way in Frimley. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a supportive, multi-disciplinary team that delivers high‑quality mental health care to adults living across Surrey Heath.The service provides specialist assessment, treatment, and ongoing support for people aged 18-65 with a range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, psychosis, and complex emotional needs. You will provide clinical leadership, expert psychiatric input, and guidance to the team, helping to manage complex cases and support recovery‑focused care.Working alongside another consultant psychiatrist and experienced colleagues including psychologists, nurses, occupational therapists, and social workers, you'll contribute to service development, teaching, and quality improvement. The role also involves liaison with GPs, community services, and acute teams to ensure joined‑up and effective patient care.Main duties of the job The CMHRS provides community care following the Care Pathways underpinned by the principles of clinically focussed risk management. The goals are of clinic‑al progression within a recovery framework.
