General Operator

Brightwork is looking for Labourers to join their client's team. This is a temporary position, but it could go permanent for the right individual. You will be working inside the warehouse with a small team, making pallets. This is a full-time Monday to Friday, 7.00 to 16.30. We are looking for several people who have had some kind of experience with timber. Your Time at Work As a General Operator, your role will include the below - Being part of a small team working with timber - Build new pallets using hand tools, power tools, and machinery. - Repair and refurbish damaged pallets by replacing or reinforcing boards. - Measure, cut, and assemble wood according to specifications. - Operate nail guns, saws, and other woodworking equipment safely. - Inspect finished pallets for quality, durability, and compliance with customer or industry standards. - Stack, organise, and prepare pallets for shipping or storage - Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety procedures - Operating machinery - Ensuring quality - Following all Health & Safety rules Our Perfect Worker If you possess the below, please apply: - Experience of working with timber. - Keen eye for detail - Have excellent communication skills - Great time keeping - Flexibility Key Information and Benefits - Monday-Friday, 7.00-16.30 - Competitive pay rate - Overtime after 40 hours at Time and a half - Full training and support provided - REF 1ELG About Staffline Brightwork Ltd offers the services of an employment agency for permanent roles and an employment business for temporary roles.
