Job Description Civil Design Engineer - Water & Wastewater Infrastructure Fleet, Hampshire (Office-Based + Site Visits) Full-Time | PermanentAre you a Civil Design Engineer with experience in water, wastewater or infrastructure projects? Looking to develop your career delivering compliant, buildable solutions across treatment and network schemes?We are seeking a Civil Design Engineer to support the design and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects from concept through to detailed design.The RoleYou will contribute to civil engineering designs across treatment works, pipelines and associated infrastructure. Working closely with engineers, CAD technicians and project managers, you'll help deliver technically robust and regulation-compliant solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop civil engineering designs for water and wastewater treatment projectsSupport hydraulic design, reinforced concrete structures and pipeline layoutsWork with CAD Technicians to produce accurate drawings and modelsCoordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated design deliveryEnsure compliance with WIMES, DSEAR, BS/EN standards and UK water regulationsAssist with site inspections, surveys and technical support as requiredApply engineering judgement to develop cost-effective, sustainable solutionsAbout You1-5 years' experience in civil design engineering (water sector desirable)Degree in Civil Engineering or related disciplineUnderstanding of hydraulic design, RC detailing and pipeline infrastructureProficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroDrainage or similar toolsAwareness of UK water industry standards and regulationsStrong communication and collaborative working skillsAnalytical and solution-focused approachWorking PatternPrimarily office-based in Fleet, Hampshire, with occasional site visits across the South of England.What's on OfferSalary up to 65,000 depending on experience25 days' holiday plus bank holidaysPension schemeHybrid flexibility (role dependent)Professional development and support towards chartershipOpportunity to work on critical UK water infrastructure projectsApplyIf you're a Civil Design Engineer looking to progress within the UK water and wastewater sector, we'd welcome your application.JBRP1_UKTJ
