Job Description Internal Sales Manager - Freight ForwardingLocation: London HeathrowSalary: Up to 55,000 + benefitsA leading global freight forwarding organisation is looking for an experienced Internal Sales Manager to lead and develop a high-performing Inside Sales and Pricing function that plays a critical role in driving commercial success.This is a key leadership position responsible for supporting the wider commercial organisation, managing pricing activity, and ensuring the delivery of competitive quotations that win and retain business.The Role Reporting into the UK Sales leadership team, you will take responsibility for the daily management of the Inside Sales and Sales Support teams, ensuring high-quality commercial support across the business.You will work closely with Business Development, Product and Operations teams, helping convert opportunities into revenue through effective pricing, tender management and customer engagement.Key responsibilities include:Leading and developing the Inside Sales and Pricing teamsManaging the quotation process for spot shipments, tenders and customer proposalsSupporting new business acquisition and existing customer retentionManaging annual, quarterly and monthly rate cardsSupporting the commercial team with RFQs, tenders and pricing strategiesProviding data analysis and reporting on quotation success ratesCoordinating with product teams and international partners to secure competitive ratesSupporting the transition of won business into operational teamsDriving telesales and portfolio development activity within the Inside Sales teamIdentifying process improvements and commercial efficienciesWhat We're Looking For Minimum 5 years' experience in freight forwardingPrevious team leadership or management experienceStrong knowledge of freight products (air, ocean, or multimodal) and operational processesExperience supporting business development, pricing or tender activityStrong analytical and commercial decision-making skillsExcellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management abilitiesConfident working with CRM systems and commercial toolsWR Logistics are the #1 recruitment partner for all vacancies in the logistics industry.
