Transport Planner

Working within the transport office in Felixstowe, you will be assisting in the routing , planning and support of the HGV fleet of vehicles, the drivers and the general operation of the business within one of Europes leading trailer companies. £30,000 - £40,000 DOE 7am - 4pm/8am - 5pm/9am - 6pm Job description Planning of loads and routes Maintaining haulier and subcontractor relationships Working within a team Communicating with drivers and customers Dispatch and tracking trucks Skills and competencies: Good communication skills Transport planning experience Experience in trucking/haulage industry Good communication skills Good knowledge of IT systems Candidates must be able to demonstrate a basic knowledge in UK geography, driver hours and law, trailer transport, shipping ferry/port knowledge and last but not least UK haulage market.
