An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Planner to join our Property Services NW team based in Bolton.The main purpose of the role is produce and manage construction programmes of various levels of complexity. Benefits: Competitive Salary / Car Allowance / 26 Days Holidays / Pension Scheme / Free Parking / Private Health Care / Professional Development & Training Opportunities / Free Wellbeing Initiatives such as eye care vouchers, occupational health, employee assistance programme / Ministry of Fun / Flexible Working / Online Retailer Discounts (Seddon Smartspending) What youll do: Support the Bid Team in securing new work through effective planning input Support the Construction team in the delivery of construction projects Ensure production of accurate reports as required by the Senior Management Develop tender programmes at a level of detail appropriate to each tender submission Support the Bid Team by preparing detailed written responses on construction methodology, sequencing, and programming Produce Logistics Plans in accordance with company standards for both tender submissions and live projects Prepare scaffold schedules, temporary electric schedules, and temporary works schedules to assist the estimating team in pricing accurately Create logic-linked construction programmes in collaboration with the construction team using AstaPowerproject , including procurement and information required schedules (IRS) Monitor and report on contract progress, producing detailed progress reports covering IRS, procurement, approvals, and construction activities Produce as-built programmes as part of the reporting and project close-out process. Record and analyse delays, liaising with operational and commercial teams to ensure timely client notifications Develop completion and short-term programmes as requested by the construction team Support subcontractor management by producing trade filters, short-term programmes, or resource schedules as required Assist with the assessment, justification, and submission of Extensions of Time (EOTs). Have you got what it takes: Proven experience as a Planner or Senior Planner within the construction industry Strong knowledge of Asta Powerproject (or similar planning software) Experience working across multiple project stages tender, pre-construction, and live delivery Excellent understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing, and logistics. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and presentation abilities Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams ?
