Job DescriptionLocation: Farnham, SurreyCompany Overview:We are a 129-year-old family-owned business specializing in furniture and flooring. Our commitment to exceptional customer service and quality products has been the cornerstone of our success. We are currently seeking a dynamic and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Furniture and Flooring Salesperson.Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service to clients visiting our showroom, guiding them through the selection and purchase process.- Manage customer orders from sale to delivery, ensuring a seamless experience.- Collaborate with the business owner to develop effective sales strategies and promote best-selling products.- Schedule flooring measures at customer residences for our flooring estimator.- Assist with marketing and social media campaigns as needed.- Maintain accurate customer records and ensure the showroom is well-presented at all times.Qualifications and Skills:- Strong customer handling skills and the ability to adapt product offerings to meet customer needs.- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.- Knowledge of furniture and/or flooring sales preferred, but outstanding candidates with sales experience in other areas will be considered.- Familiarity with email, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and websites.- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude.Work Environment:Our company prides itself on a collaborative and supportive work environment.
