Tax & Trusts Manager

Our client is a legal 500 ranked firm and due to continual growth, they are now looking for additional support in their busy Wills and Inheritance team. We are seeking an experienced Trust & Tax Manager who has broad experience in offering private clients a range of services, including, wills, inheritance, probate, estate administration, tax planning and trusts.As the Trust & Tax Manager, you will be responsible for:Preparation of self-assessment income tax returns and land disposal CGT returns for trusts, estates and individualsPreparation of annual trust accounts and associated annual compliance mattersPreparation of inheritance tax returns in respect of exit charges, 10-year charges, and the termination of life interestsArranging payment of tax and corresponding with HMRC as requiredDealing with FATCA and CRS complianceRegistering trusts on HMRC's trust register and maintaining the registerLiaising with trustees, beneficiaries, investment advisers and other professionalsAttending annual trustee meetings where appropriateThe successful Trust & Tax Manager have the following related skills / experience:AAT or ATT qualifiedStrong experience in a similar roleKnowledge of double entry bookkeeping and excellent Excel skillsExperience of tax return and probate case management software, preferably TaxCalc and Isokon would be advantageous.Benefits:25 days hols + bank holsPension scheme - Scottish Widows Pension scheme with an option to join the Salary Exchange scheme, contribution levels are 5% employee with a matching 5% employer contributionLife Assurance - 4 x salaryGroup Income Protection InsuranceBUPA Cash Plan - Auto enrolment after completion of probationary periodRegular events organised by the social committee including a summer and Christmas partiesFor more information, please contact Sharon Tanner or Chloe Bennett on 0118 956 7064 TPBN1_UKTJ
