Wiring Technician

Our client, a leading manufacturer in the defence sector, is currently seeking an experienced IPC Wiring Technician to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled wiring professional with strong attention to detail and a passion for quality. Key Responsibilities: Assemble and install cable harnesses and wire assemblies to IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards Read and interpret complex wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings Perform crimping, stripping, soldering, lacing, and tinning Carry out continuity checks and functional testing using test meters Maintain high standards of workmanship and follow ESD-safe practices Accurately complete production and inspection documentation Work collaboratively with quality and engineering teams to resolve build issues Candidate Requirements: IPC/WHMA-A-620 Certification Proven experience in wiring, cable assembly, or harness building Ability to work from engineering drawings and build instructions Excellent hand skills and attention to detail Knowledge of ESD safety and cleanroom procedures Previous experience in aerospace, defence, or medical sectors is a plus Whats on Offer: Competitive hourly rate Ongoing contract Supportive team environment Immediate start available Opportunity to work with a high-quality manufacturer with strong industry reputation How to Apply: If you're a qualified IPC Wiring Technician looking for your next opportunity, apply now with your updated CV.
