Taking a proactive approach to problem solving will be essential.This company are a global organisation who specialise in engineering and technical products, they offer lots of opportunities to build a great career.The RoleThis is very much a busy production planning role within technical manufacturing.You must be capable of building strong relationships and must enjoy problem solving.Your duties will include:Understanding why production deadlines are not met and adjusting them accordinglyIdentifying work release orders and confirming those that can be produced with the available manufacturing capacityPlanning, releasing, scheduling and expediting all materials required for productionMaintaining the accuracy and validity of the data in the ERP systemUsing ERP reports to produce daily supply reviewsAttending meetings to communicate the status of the production planThe Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate will have a strong background within production planning or material planning and be confident working with ERP systems.
