Work with nextgeneration sensing technology used by engineering innovators worldwide Split focus between an established renewable energy customer base and developing new markets Highly varied, technical consultative sales no transactional selling Direct influence over product development and commercial strategy Real opportunity to grow your career as the business continues to scaleThe RoleAs Technical Sales Engineer, youll be the bridge between engineering capability and customer need identifying opportunities, creating tailored solutions, and guiding prospects from first conversation through to contract signature.You will:Identify and open new opportunities across target industriesSupport existing customers and uncover crossselling possibilitiesTranslate complex product capabilities into clear technical and commercial proposalsWork closely with engineering teams and customer technical stakeholdersBuild relationships globally and manage a sales cycle ranging from 3 months to 2 yearsProvide accurate sales forecasting and contribute to commercial strategyThis is a handson, customerfacing role where curiosity, technical aptitude and commercial instinct are essential.About YouYoull thrive here if you are:Degreequalified in a Science or Engineering disciplineExperienced in technical sales or a similar consultative engineering roleFamiliarity with fibre optics, sensor technologies or measurement systems is desirable but not essential as full product training will be providedA confident communicator able to explain technical concepts to mixedability audiencesCommercially sharp and comfortable building compelling business casesProactive, inquisitive, relationshipdriven and motivated by business growthWilling to travel in the UK and internationally
