Aerospace Quality Manager

Job DescriptionAre you an experienced Aerospace Quality Manager ready to lead at a strategic level? If so, then this role, paying up to 75,000 could be your ideal move!If you are driven by leading people and improving systems, owning quality performance across a business, then we want to speak with you now!This divisional Quality Manager will join a leading aerospace manufacturer based in Segensworth, off junction 9 M27, near Fareham in Hampshire. Youll be a vital part of the senior leadership team, with full accountability for all quality assurance, compliance, product quality and internal systems. With around 160 people on site, a quality team in excess of 20, youll lead and develop a capable team of Quality Engineers, Compliance and Supplier Quality professionals and engage directly with major customers and key suppliers.Whats in it for you?This permanent role offers 5 weeks of holiday, early Friday finishes, a contributory pension up to 11%, Health Cash Plan, free on-site gym equipment, free parking and staff discounts with major supermarkets like Sainsburys and ASDA. Youll also join a business that champions internal progression, values integrity and innovation and is pushing hard on continuous improvement.What will I be doing?Youll drive strategic quality improvements across the division, ensuring compliance with AS9100, ISO9001, FAA, EASA and CAA requirements. Youll also:Lead the deployment of a compliant, agile and effective quality management systemDevelop and execute the divisional quality strategy and report key metrics to group leadershipRepresent quality in customer relationships and executive-level reviewsLead internal and supplier audits, root cause investigations and corrective actionsUse SPC, 8D, RCCA and other tools to drive process improvements and reduce cost of qualityRepresent QA at design reviews and support new product introductionWhat do I need?At least 5 years in an Aerospace quality leadership roleStrong knowledge of AS9100, ISO9001 and relevant aerospace approvals (FAA, EASA, CAA)A recognised Quality Management or Assurance certificationExperience leading quality assurance teams, including Supplier and Product QualityProven success in improving quality performance, compliance, and audit outcomesIdeally degree-qualified in a relevant engineering or technical disciplineA confident communicator who can influence, coach and lead across functionsIf this sounds like the right challenge for you, then lets talk!
