Job Description Design Manager - Facade/Cladding/Remediation - x3 days in the office - HampshireThe CompanyMy client are a successful Main Contractor, specialising in facade works, who have experienced steady growth over the past 10+ years.Projects ranging from 2m-20m.My client are a strong investor in their staff and have a low staff turnover.The company is run by affable directors, who have developed a robust company with a solid reputation.HQ based in HampshireThe Role - Design ManagerMy client are looking to appoint a Design Manager to join their Design teamHybrid working available (x3 days in the office in Hampshire)Lead the design life cycle, from initial concept through to final deliveryOverseeing design stages, coordinating with architects, fire engineers and other colleaguesUnderstanding of fire safety regulations, cladding systems, and materials used in envelope claddingReview and approve design proposals, drawings, and technical documentation for accuracy and compliance.Leading a design team and mentoring othersProvide technical guidance and problem-solvingMonitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions where necessaryEnsuring projects meeting critical deadlinesYou will ideally have 5+ years in cladding/facade design management and it would be adventurous to have fire remediation experience.This is an exciting time to join a company who are renowned in the industry for investing in their staff.Design Manager - Facade / Cladding / Remediation / Curtain Wall / SFS
