Hays is recruiting for an Electrician to join the maintenance team. This role involves both planned and reactive maintenance and requires a high standard of technical ability.The RoleYou will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient and reliable operation of electrical systems across the site. Daily tasks will include:Reacting to breakdown and maintenance requests within agreed SLAsCarrying out routine maintenance to a high standardTesting and diagnosing power quality issuesConducting emergency lighting and fire alarm testingReading and interpreting technical drawings, instructions, processes and O&M manualsCompleting upgrade and installation works as requiredLiaising with subcontractors and ensuring works are completed to required policies and standardsMonitoring environmental conditions and critical equipment, ensuring safe and optimal operationUndertaking root cause analysis and ensuring corrective actions are implementedMaintaining accurate site logs and documentationShift PatternsThis role works on a weeklyrotating shift pattern:07:00 15:3009:30 18:00(40 hours per week, with a 30minute unpaid lunch break)What Youll Need18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations certificationExperience working with building management systems (BMS), including fault finding and operational useFM (Facilities Management) experience is advantageousA Basic DBS certificate dated within the last 3 months required for unescorted access on siteWhy Work Through Hays?Dedicated recruiter supportAccess to a wide range of temporary and longterm opportunitiesWeekly pay and reliable assignment management # 4770880
