LGV Class 1 Tramper Drivers

Stevenson Bros (Avonbridge) Ltd, an A.W. Jenkinson Group Company, are currently recruiting for additional LGV Class 1 (C+E) general tramper drivers to join the team based out of our site at Avonbridge, Falkirk. A long established family business, we are a specialist bulk haulier operating an exceptionally modern fleet of class one vehicles. Requirements Full UK driving licence with LGV C+E category (Class 1) Maximum of 6 penalty points Valid DCPC card & digital tachograph driver card Sound geographical knowledge and understanding of UK EU LGV drivers hours rules. Min 1yr C+E driving experience preferred Experience of bulk haulage is preferred although not essential as full training is provided. The role will involve operating walking floor and chipliner/curtain sider trailer combinations. This role involves working away from home Monday to Friday, with the occasional requirement for working on a Saturday morning. Please note, our trailer gantry and fall arrest systems have a 22 stone (140kg) maximum weight limit.
