Job Description About the CompanyWe are supporting a multi-site organisation to recruit a Compliance Specialist / Head of Compliance. This role sits at the centre of the companys governance framework, working across UK and European locations to strengthen certification, responsible sourcing, due diligence, management systems and wider corporate compliance.This is not an operational HSE or environmental role. Instead, the focus is on consistency, documentation, standards, and helping the business stay ahead of changing regulatory requirements.About the RoleThis role is key in leading the organisations approach to compliance, certification and responsible sourcing.ResponsibilitiesLead the organisations approach to compliance, certification and responsible sourcingManage supplier due diligence, assessments and risk evaluationMaintain and coordinate certification programmes (FSC, PEFC or similar schemes)Support the development and improvement of management systems, including ISO 14001Coordinate internal and external audits across multiple sitesMonitor regulatory changes affecting sustainability, supply chains and governanceSupport compliance activities relating to modern slavery, anti-bribery and ethical sourcingWork closely with site teams to ensure alignment and consistent standardsQualificationsBackground in compliance, governance, sustainability, auditing or certification gained within manufacturing.Required SkillsStrong experience with audit processes (internal auditor or lead auditor qualification ideal)Skilled in policy writing, documentation control and process governanceConfident communicator who can influence across multiple sites and functionsOrganised, structured and able to balance strategic planning with practical needsThis is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys structure, standards and improving frameworks across multiple locations.Next Steps:If youd like to discuss the role or view the full briefing pack, please apply or get in touch for a confidential chat.Equal Opportunity StatementWe are committed to diversity and inclusivity.
