Job Title: Mechanical Fitter Location: Fakenham Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Pay Rate: 13.00 15.50 per hour Position 1 Recruitment is delighted to be working in partnership with a well-established engineering company based in Fakenham. We are currently looking for a skilled and dependable Mechanical Fitter to join their friendly and growing team. This is a hands-on, workshop-based position, ideal for someone with strong mechanical assembly and maintenance experience who enjoys working as part of a team. Key Responsibilities: Fitting, assembling, and testing mechanical components and machinery Reading and interpreting technical drawings and engineering diagrams Working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems Carrying out fault-finding, maintenance, and repairs Ensuring all work meets safety, quality, and performance standards Supporting project builds and customer installations, when needed Experience/ Qualifications: Experience as a Mechanical Fitter or Machinery Assembler Confident in reading and understanding engineering drawings Good knowledge of mechanical systems, including moving parts, bearings, and ideally some basic wiring Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail If you're a Mechanical Fitter looking for a new opportunity with a company that values skill, reliability, and teamwork, wed love to hear from you.
