Refrigeration EngineerWe are looking for a skilled and committed Refrigeration Engineer to join the team at KOMA UK, specialists in refrigeration and dough conditioning for the bakery and food industry.This is a practical role for someone who takes pride in doing a job well. You’ll be installing and servicing high-quality systems across the UK and working closely with a small supportive team. You’ll be joining a friendly team where your ideas are valued, and where you can help shape the next phase of our growthKey Responsibilities:● Install, service, and maintenance of refrigeration and dough conditioning systems, from small cabinets to large blast freezers and full production facilities● Carry out proactive preventative maintenance and fault-finding to prevent breakdowns and ensure peak performance● Complete all job documentation accurately and on time, providing clear, detailed reports that are essential for our records and client confidence● Work independently on-site while representing KOMA UK with professionalism and integrity● Participate in an on-call rota and occasional weekend work, providing responsive support to key clients when required● Follow all health, safety, and environmental standards in line with company policies● Take a forward-thinking approach to every job, spotting potential issues before they become calloutsWho We're Looking For:● F-Gas Category 1 certification (essential)● Solid experience in large commercial or industrial refrigeration systems● Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills● CO₂ system experience is an advantage (training provided for the right person)● Full UK driving licence● Practical, can-do attitude with a commitment to high standards● Honest, reliable, and ready to take ownership of your workImportant DetailsBase: Ideally South of Milton Keynes (national travel & regular stays away)Hours: Full-Time (flexibility required due to travel and workload)Salary: negotiable depending on experience Additional Pay: Overtime, bonuses, and paid door-to-door travelWhy Join Us?● Competitive salary with overtime and bonus opportunities● 5% employer pension contribution● Private health cover● Full manufacturer training (UK & Netherlands)● Real career progression as we grow, not just talk● Work with industry-leading equipment and a supportive, down-to-earth teamAbout KOMA UKKOMA UK is a subsidiary of KOMA, dedicated to delivering high-quality, sustainable solutions in cooling, freezing, and dough conditioning.
