Mechanical Design Lead - Electrified Personal AircraftAn exciting opportunity has opened for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a pioneering company developing next-generation electrified personal aircraft. You’ll play a key role in designing structural, flight-critical, and non-flight hardware—contributing to the evolution of sustainable personal aviation.Working in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment, you’ll be involved across the full lifecycle: from concept development and detailed design, through to testing, validation, and production handover.What you’ll do:Develop 3D CAD models and 2D drawings of components and assembliesPerform stress analyses (FEA and hand calculations)Support prototyping, testing, and manufacturing transferCollaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teamsEnsure compliance with aerospace standards and airworthiness guidelinesWhat we’re looking for:Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering3+ years’ experience in aerospace, automotive, or high-performance mechanical designProficiency in CAD (Siemens NX preferred, or equivalent)Knowledge of lightweight structures, composites, and integrationStrong communication and problem-solving skillsThis is a chance to be part of a team shaping the future of flight.
