Saturdays/Bank Holidays (optional) 18.58 per hour.Average of 48hours per week, start times 06:30 on Mondays and 06:00 Tuesday to FridayPolar Speed has a reputation for quality, compliance, operational and customer facing technology and monitoring solutions in the growing temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical logistics market in the UK. The company specialises in active temperature-controlled deliveries to hospitals, pharmacies, wholesalers and medical care surgeries as well as to end patients which it serves through its homecare business. Its customers include some of the best known pharmaceutical brands in the world.As a medical multi-drop driver, youll make between 20 and 25 collections and deliveries to GP surgeries, retail pharmacies, home delivery patients, wholesalers and hospitals.For applicants new to multi drop we can provide full training and when required for experienced Multi Drop Drivers in our team we on occasionoffer progression to C Licence categories when requiredYoull work a minimum of 40 hours per week and must be flexible and prepared to work additional hours as and when required to meet our service requirements which may be of an urgent medical nature (average 48 - 50 hours). For this role, you may expect to work on a Monday Friday basis with bank holiday and overtime working as required.Key Responsibilities:Complete daily safety checks of vehicle and refrigeration unitCheck and scan all consignmentsDeliver consignments on an accurate and timely basis ensuring products stay within the required temperature rangeEnsure that records of deliveries are electronically captured and driver manifests are completedMaintain daily communications to provide service updatesDemonstrate professional and safe driving competency at all timesPresent a smart working appearance at all times Key Skills/Experience/Requirements:A minimum of 2 years driving experienceMust hold a B category driving licence (ideally no more than 3 points)Previous multi-drop experience advantageousExcellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to build effective working relationships with customers/clients, whilst appreciating the need for maintaining confidentialityGood organisation skills with the ability to prioritiseWe offer a wide range of benefits including 28 days holiday (including bank holidays) building to 33 days (including bank holidays) in the sixth full holiday, company pension scheme with 4.5% employee salary sacrifice and 4.5% company contribution, plus a UPS Perks at Work scheme.Due to the nature of the work we do and for successful applicants, Polar Speed will be required to process enhanced disclosure criminal record checks.TPBN1_UKTJ
