Supported Housing Manager

As the organisation continues to grow and strengthen its housing function, this role will play a key part in professionalising and developing housing operations.The RoleThis is a hands-on operational Supported Housing Manager role responsible for ensuring the smooth and compliant delivery of supported housing services.You will oversee the day-to-day housing operations, managing a small team consisting of two Housing Officers and a Housing Assistant, while working closely with care teams, social workers and external partners to ensure residents receive high-quality housing services.The role will be primarily based in Plymouth, with occasional travel to services across Devon and Cornwall when required.A key part of the role will be maintaining strong oversight of property compliance and housing standards, ensuring all homes remain safe, well-maintained and compliant with regulatory requirements.Key Responsibilities of a Supported Housing Manager:Lead, manage and develop a small housing team, fostering a positive and professional service cultureOversee tenancy and housing management across supported housing servicesEnsure properties meet all housing compliance and safety standards, including fire safety, damp and mould management, and health and safety requirementsManage contractors, maintenance works and property budgetsWork collaboratively with care providers, social workers and external stakeholdersMaintain strong operational oversight of housing processes including tenancy sustainment and safeguardingSupport service performance monitoring, reporting and continuous improvementContribute to the ongoing development and strengthening of the organisations housing functionAbout YouOur client is seeking someone who combines strong housing expertise with excellent people skills and confident operational leadership.The successful candidate will be someone who can build strong relationships, lead a team effectively and ensure high standards of housing management and compliance.You will ideally have:Experience working within housing or supported housing servicesPrevious team management or supervisory experienceA strong understanding of housing operations and tenancy managementKnowledge of housing compliance and property safety requirements, including fire safety and damp and mould managementExperience managing contractors and property maintenanceThe ability to work collaboratively across housing, care and partner organisationsA CIH qualification (Level 4 or above) or working towards one would be advantageous, though not essentialThe OpportunityThis is an excellent opportunity to join an organisation going through positive growth and development, where housing plays a critical role in delivering high-quality supported living services.The role offers the chance to shape and strengthen housing operations, lead a small team, and make a meaningful impact on the quality and safety of supported housing provision. xjdpvnf Whats on Offer:This is a hybrid role offering some flexibility; however, the successful candidate must be able to travel across Plymouth and surrounding areas when required.If this Supported Housing Manager role is for you, please apply or contact
