Job DescriptionMobile Plant Fitter (Diesel Mechanic)Exeter/Plymouth42,000 - 48,000 (OTE 60,000+) + Company VehicleAbout the RoleNEOS Engineering are working with one of the UKs leading plant machinery companies, known for their large and modern fleet of mid-to-heavy construction equipment. Due to continued growth and high demand, theyre looking for a Mobile Plant Fitter to join their team, covering the Exeter/Plymouth area.Youll be responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of plant equipment out on customer sitesresponding to breakdowns, performing scheduled servicing, and keeping machines operating safely and efficiently.This role would suit experienced Plant Fittersbut we also welcome candidates from related industries such as HGV, agricultural, or military who are looking to move into the plant industry and take on more independence, overtime, and responsibility.Key Responsibilities:Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults on-sitePerform routine servicing and maintenance on plant machineryAttend breakdowns across Exeter/Plymouth and surrounding areasWork on a variety of construction machinery: excavators, dumpers, rollers, telehandlers, etc.Use diagnostic tools and follow technical manuals where neededEnsure all work is carried out safely and professionallyWhat Were Looking For:Experience in mechanical maintenance or repair (plant, HGV, agri, forces, etc.)Strong understanding of diesel engines, hydraulics, and basic electricsNVQ Level 2/3 in Plant, Agricultural, HGV or relevant discipline (or equivalent experience)Able to work independently and manage your own scheduleEager to earn overtime and take on responsibilityFull UK Driving LicenceWhats in It for You:17 19 per hour depending on experienceOvertime readily available OTE 55,000 60,000+Company van, tools, and fuel cardFull training and support to help you transition if you're new to plantLong-term opportunity with a stable and growing companyAutonomy, responsibility, and variety every day is different!
