Job DescriptionJob Role: Fire Safety InspectorLocation: ExeterHours: 35 hours per week - Monday to FridaySalary: 25,000 plus car allowanceAt Innovus, we are committed to delivering market leading solutions and professional services. Applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own vehicle.Main Responsibilities:Undertake full inspection of all fire alarms, lifts operators and smoke ventsProgress report your work to your Line Manager as requiredMaintain all equipment for your job role in operable and safe condition ensuring its security Complete job sheets as required for work carried out or scheduled.Ensure all defective doors are documented and list works required to make door compliantDo not permit the use of any Company equipment by any other person, unless authorised to do so by your Line ManagerAct with integrity and professionalism alwaysReport any repairs required that can not be dealt with on site to the Property Service Advisor when identified as part of the daily checks and also maintain an on site log of all repairs due and completed.Complete all training as requiredHealth and Safety:To maintain full compliance with the company Health and Safety Policy.Follow company procedure and guidelines for Health and Safety in relation to complianceEnsure safe working environment and site safety at all timesReport any breaches of H&S to Line ManagementReport all accidents and near misses to Line ManagementOther Duties:Ensure all correct P.P.E is used at all times and due regard is given at all times to Health and Safety mattersTo carry out any other reasonable tasks that your manager may requestWilling to commute to various sites.Experience:Ability to deal with large work schedules and act on own Initiative.Working at Innovus:At Innovus, we recognise that people come to work to do a great job, and we actively support this through our internal employee reward platform and a culture that celebrates contribution.Were passionate about helping our people grow and progress, and we encourage ongoing personal and professional development.
