Job Description Senior Account DirectorLocation: South West England (Hybrid / Field-based)Network & Security / MSP (New Regional Division)The OpportunityWe are working with a well-established network, security reseller and MSP that is launching a new South West division. This is a genuinely exciting opportunity for a stand-alone, entrepreneurial Senior Account Director to take ownership of a region and build something meaningful from the ground up.This role suits someone who thrives with autonomy, enjoys opening doors, and wants real influence over how a regional business grows not just carrying a number.The RoleAs Senior Account Director, you will be responsible for developing new client relationships and growing strategic accounts across the South West. You will act as the commercial lead for the region, working closely with pre-sales, technical delivery, and vendor partners while helping shape the long-term go-to-market strategy.Initially, this is a hands-on, individual contributor role, with the opportunity to build and lead a regional team as the division grows.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and grow revenue across the South West regionIdentify, win, and develop new business across network, security, and managed servicesBuild trusted, long-term relationships with senior stakeholdersLead the full sales cycle: prospecting, solution design, negotiation, and closeWork collaboratively with pre-sales and delivery teams to design robust solutionsEngage with key technology vendors and distributor partnersContribute to the regional growth strategy and future team buildMaintain accurate pipeline forecasting and CRM disciplineExperience & BackgroundProven experience in a senior sales or account director role within:Network & security resellerMSP or IT services businessComfortable operating stand-alone with minimal supervisionStrong new business capability, balanced with account growthExperience selling into the public sector is highly advantageousCommercial understanding of:NetworkingCyber securityManaged servicesTechnology Exposure (Advantageous)ArubaHPEFortinet(Vendor-agnostic mindset preferred depth matters more)Personal AttributesEntrepreneurial, self-starter mindsetComfortable with ambiguity and building from scratchCommercially sharp and outcome-focusedCredible at C-level and senior IT leadership levelRelationship-led, not transactionalWhy Join?Chance to shape and grow a new regional divisionHigh degree of autonomy and trustStrong vendor relationships and delivery capability behind youClear progression into regional leadership as the business scalesJBRP1_UKTJ
