Youll take ownership of key bids and budgets while working closely with senior stakeholders to ensure projects are robustly costed, commercially sound, and aligned with wider business objectives. Beyond the numbers, youll have the opportunity to contribute to business development activity and play a meaningful part in shaping the future direction of the company.Key responsibilities include:Leading the preparation of detailed and accurate cost estimates for a variety of construction projects, including tenders and pre-construction budgetsReviewing drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to produce comprehensive pricing submissionsCollaborating with project managers, consultants, and clients to ensure estimates reflect scope, risk, and delivery requirementsPlaying a key role in business development by identifying new opportunities and supporting client relationship managementContributing to strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance targetsManaging, mentoring, and developing a small estimating and support teamMonitoring industry trends, regulatory updates, and market conditions to inform commercial and operational decisionsAbout You:Youll be a commercially minded construction professional with strong leadership capability and a proven background in estimating.Significant experience in construction estimating with a strong grasp of costing methodologies and market ratesSound commercial judgement, ideally with exposure to senior management, business leadership, or director-level responsibilitiesStrong analytical, negotiation, and communication skillsProficiency with Excel and Microsoft OfficeExperience leading teams and contributing to business strategyWhats on OfferCompetitive salary with performance-related incentivesFlexible working arrangementsA comprehensive benefits packageClear opportunities for long-term progression and professional development
