Management Accountant

Management Accountant (Fixed-Term Contract) Exeter 3 months initially (with potential to extend to 6 months) 40,000 45,000 (pro rata, DOE) We are recruiting for an experienced Management Accountant to join a well-established organisation on a fixed-term basis , supporting the finance function during a busy period. Reporting into the Head of FP&A , this role will play a key part in delivering high-quality management information, forecasting and insight to support senior decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Producing and maintaining management accounts Supporting rolling forecasts and forward-looking financial analysis Preparing spend analysis and cost reports Presenting clear, accurate financial insights to the Head of FP&A Contributing content for board-level reporting and packs Supporting wider finance and planning activity as required About You: Proven experience in a Management Accountant or similar role Strong background in forecasting, analysis and reporting Confident producing and explaining financial information for senior stakeholders Comfortable working to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment CIMA qualified ideally but part-qualified or equivalent experience considered This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on management accountant seeking a short-term contract with exposure to senior stakeholders and meaningful business insight.
