Sales Executive

Job Description Sales Executive Ground Support & ProppingWere partnering with an established specialist business operating within ground support, propping and temporary works solutions, supporting contractors and engineering teams across complex construction projects.This is a senior, field based technical sales role, focused on developing long term client relationships and supporting projects from early enquiry through to delivery. The position combines technical understanding with commercial responsibility, operating closely with site teams, engineers and decision makers.This is not a purely transactional sales role. Youll be trusted to advise on the right solution for each project, act as a technical sounding board for clients, and manage opportunities through to completion. Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop new business opportunities across ground support, propping and temporary worksManage and grow a portfolio of live accounts and construction projects across KentEngage with contractors, engineers, consultants and procurement teamsPrepare quotations, proposals and tender submissions aligned to project requirementsDeliver technical discussions and solution recommendations based on drawings and site constraintsWork closely with internal engineering teams on designs, calculations and bespoke solutionsMaintain a strong sales pipeline and deliver against agreed targetsKeep CRM records accurate and up to dateFeed back market insight, competitor activity and industry trends Required Skills and ExperienceProven sales experience within construction, engineering or a technical environmentConfidence operating in a client facing, consultative sales roleAbility to understand drawings, specifications and site requirementsStrong communication and relationship building skillsWell organised, self motivated and comfortable managing your own territoryCompetent using CRM systems and standard office software Desirable, not essentialExperience with ground support, propping, shoring or temporary works systemsCivil, construction or engineering related qualificationsExisting relationships with contractors, engineers or project teams The PackageBasic salary: 50,000 to 55,000On target earnings: additional 10,000 to 15,000Field based role covering EssexRegular site and client visitsOccasional overnight stays for meetings or training
