Working alongside senior clinicians and practice staff, youll support daily operations and contribute to the practices wider service goals.Maintain strong clinical standards, taking part in governance and quality improvement activities, and ensure compliance with frameworks such as QOF and CQC.Provide a full range of clinical servicesboth face-to-face and remotecover consultations, triage, results, correspondence, medication reviews, prescriptions, and safeguarding duties. Additional tasks may include home visits, reports, meetings, and participation in the on-call rota (excluding OOH).Uphold GMC-aligned professional standards and work with the Practice Manager and clinical leads to enhance patient experience, support performance targets, and contribute to ongoing service development.RequirementsFully registered with the GMC, included on the NHS performers list, and actively practising in a primary care setting.MRCGP or equivalent training and experience.A strong understanding of quality standards and primary care programmessuch as QOF, local and enhanced services, and relevant performance indicatorsis essential, along with accurate clinical coding skills.Familiarity with commonly used clinical systems, particularly SystmOne or EMIS Web, would be highly advantageous.Interested?
