Reports to: Chief Delivery OfficerPlace of Work: Hybrid (3 days office, 2 days remote) preferably Halstead, Essex Salary: Competitive (depending on experience and skills) + car allowanceWe’re seeking a Head of Commercial Project Management to lead the contractual journey from Letter of Intent to Signed Contract, ensuring deals progress smoothly and efficiently. This senior role requires strong commercial insight, client negotiation experience, and the ability to lead a small, skilled team through complex contractual processes.What You’ll DoDevelop tailored commercial offers using input from technical and legal teamsBuilding strong working relationships with key client stakeholders to reach consensus on contracts and maintain project momentum/unblock projectsArticulating and presenting commercial principles to client stakeholdersNegotiating basic commercial principles with client teams and assisting in closing dealsObtaining relevant information and engaging legal firms at the appropriate time to progress contractsReporting on contract progress from signed Letter of Intent to contract closeNegotiating legal terms and issues in conjunction with external law firmsFollowing processes and reporting to the Chief Delivery Officer on targetsEnsuring Financial Investment Decisions are supported with relevant information for sign-offManaging and delegating tasks within a team to meet targetsWhat We’re Looking ForEssential:Strong working knowledge of contracts and property lawExcellent interpersonal and client relationship skillsProven problem-solver with a practical, solutions-based mindsetCommercially aware, able to assess risk and unlock valueHigh attention to detail and commitment to qualityProficient in Microsoft Office and contract management toolsBasic project management capabilityPreferred:5+ years of relevant experienceFamiliarity with Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) and renewable energy contractsUnderstanding of solar PV systems and decentralised energy infrastructureEngineering or electrical background (a plus, not essential)Note: Training will be provided for candidates lacking preferred experience, provided they have a good understanding of property law and contract negotiation.Who will this role interact with?Daily interaction with own team and support in team buildingCollaboration with investment teams and various business managersRegular contact with external law firmsDaily engagement with clients and their legal teamsWhy Join SNRG?At SNRG, you’ll be part of a collaborative and high-performing team that values integrity, initiative, and practical problem-solving.
